Deity
Deity is the quality of being divine or a term for God.
Within Christianity, the quality is possessed by God alone and it distinguishes Him from all that is.
We affirm our faith in Christ's' deity: We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (God the Son), 2nd in the Trinity.
The Word of God Affirms:
Jesus is the great I AM (Ex 3:14 & Saint John 8:58)
Jesus is the First and the Last (Isaiah 44:6 & Rev 1:17)
Jesus receives Glory (Isaiah 42:8 & Saint John 17:5)
Christ in Creation:
-
God spoke his Word (logos/wisdom), and all things are by his Word sustained. (Genesis 1:1-3)
-
Jesus is the living Word by which all things consist (Saint John 1:1-3)
-
God created the worlds by Christ, the brightness of his glory and express image of his person. (Heb 1 :1-3)
Begotten: (Greek) monogenes-only, unique in essence, generated or born. Jesus is eternal: 1 John 1:1-2
***Christ is not a created being: Col 1:14-19, Rev 3:14
The mystery of Godliness:
Through Jesus Christ, is the Father revealed (1 Tim 3:16)

Original Sin
Through one man’s disobedience, sin entered into the world (Ro 5:12).
Depravity: moral corruption
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us. (1 John 1:8-10)
*note 1 John 1:8-10, 1 John 2:1-2 and 1 John 3:5-9 are to be properly exegesed.
Total depravity and mans ability to receive or choose God's free gift of grace:
* we believe that man cannot:
-
Find his way to god without divine help
-
Plead his case before the true & Holy God
-
Pay for his sins committed in Adam
The word of God plainly tells us that Jesus Christ:
-
Revealed the only way to God (John 14:6)
-
Mediates between God and men (1 Tim 2:5)
-
Atones for the sins of the whole world (John 2:1-2)

Our salvation is therefore both, initially & essentially: monergestic (mon =one, erg = work)
The work of God alone!
*Man can however; choose to receive or reject God’s gift. God reaches out to his offspring commanding that all men everywhere repent and believe on his son. (Acts 17:23-31)
All men are without excuse. (Ro 1:18-23)
Christ gave commandment to his disciples to preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15-16)
*We believe that God allows man to choose or to reject His gift. Therefore; we believe that God willed our salvation to be synergistic (syn= together. ergy = work)
Men are working together with God (Phi 2:12-13)
Come let us reason together saith the Lord. (Isaiah 1:18-20)
Jesus said that a man must choose to deny himself and take up his cross to follow Him (Christ)
(Mathew 16:24-26)
Both the Old Testament passage & the New Testament passage shows God reasoning with man and holding him responsible for his choices!
Repentance
Jesus preached ("repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand!") Matthew 4:17
The free gift is given but man has to cooperate. What does it mean to repent?

Christ commands every sinner to lay down his arms of rebellion, and put up his white flag of surrender to enter the kingdom of god. We must have a change of mind about sin before we can receive a changed heart. We must understand that our sin is an offense to god and choose to turn from it. 1 John 1:9
The sixth chapter of Romans tells us that the believer is:
-
To reckon (reason, suppose or think) as one dead to sin (Ro 6:1-4)
-
To know that sin has no dominion over the new birth (Ro 6:10- 14)
-
Not to be a servant to sin (Ro 6:16-18)
*Because God does not impute (take inventory, estimate or conclude) sin to the believer; we are not to take the title of sinner as a newborn in Christ!
*The believer must know the power of Christ cleansing blood:
-
What god has cleansed (Acts 11:7-9)
-
We are washed and sanctified (1 Cor 6:9-11)
-
We must remember that we are to reckon ourselves as, lest we forget (2 Peter 1:9)
Scripture Canon
Canon: Rule or measure
We believe that the only infallible written works of Scripture are contained within the 66 books of the Bible (39 Old Testament works & 27 New Testament works). We believe that these works are inspired by the hand of God and the pen of His anointed servants (The prophets & Apostles).
We do not accept any of the works of the Apocrypha as inspired by God, or to have been authored by the Prophets or Apostles.
The Canon Rule: All of the Holy works of scripture must be ordained by God in the hands of his anointed servants (The Prophets & Apostles). Establishing propheticity affirms the true works of God's anointed.
Within the 66 books of the bible:
-
We have the authentic and inspired work of God (2 Peter 1:16)
-
The certainty of God's anointed servants (2 Peter 1:21)
-
The authority of God's servant is affirmed (2 Peter 3:1-2)
-
We know that God has spoken by his Son Jesus Christ (Heb 1:1)
-
We can show how Christ affirms the Prophets and Apostles (Mt 5:17- 18, St. John 17:20)
-
We can see how the Apostles affirmed each other's other (2 Peter 3:14-16)
-
We can know with absolute certainty; the power & authority of God's word (2 Tim 3:14-16)
CLOSING:
The Canon of Scriptures closed with the death of the Apostles at the end of the 1st century AD 90 -140.
Trinity
Our God is triune: one being in three distinct persons.
We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons; God the Father; God the Son & God the Holy Spirit.
As men & women who have finite understanding of the infinite wisdom of God; we do not comprehend the complexity of God's truth as one being who is distinct in three persons'.

As a ministry we teach the apprehensive truth of this mystery as it is manifested through the word of prophecy & the doctrine of the apostles.
The doctrine of the trinity; though it is not comprehended by the finite mind; it is apprehended through doctrine.
-
Comprehend: the act or action of grasping with the intellect.
-
Apprehend: to become aware of: to perceive
Faith in creation: We perceive what the word of God tells us. We don't know how a spoken word can cause all things to become and sustain. ·
No theory of science can explain our existence.
-
Something can't come from nothing; nothing ever could
The trinity is monotheistic: one being (essence), who has three distinct person hoods. .
The trinity is not tritheistic: three separate beings who agree as one.
The trinity is not modalism: one god acting in three different roles.
-
The Son did not send the Father
-
The Father was not crucified
-
The Holy Spirit wasn't bruised for our iniquities
God the Father: (One God 1 Corinthians 8:6)
-
The Father placed his seal of approval on the Son
-
The father raised the son (Gal 1:1)
-
The son is in the father & father is in the son (St. John 14:5-10)
The Son:
-
The eternal life that was with the father (1 John 1:2)
-
The word that was with god and was made flesh (St. John 1:1)
-
The son from the bosom of the father (St. John 1:18)
The Holy Spirit:
-
God is a Spirit (St. John 4:24)
-
Father of Spirits (Heb 12:9; angels are ministering spirits: Heb 1:13-14 the Holy Spirit in creation Gen 1:1)
-
Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father (St. John 15:26)
The Godhead is ontologically (nature & essence) one without subordination
-
The distinct role of persons in the Godhead (functional subordination)
-
Sub'or'di'na'tion: the act of subordinating, placing in a lower order, or subjecting.
The Father -sends & ordains within the Godhead (Acts 10:42)
The Son -sent & ordained -completes (1 Peter 1:19-20)
The Holy Spirit: aid/paraclete to men (Romans 8:26)
The Son eternally distinct
In subordinate role: 1 Corinthians 15:26-28
Resurrection
Christ rose from the grave to prove that He is the son of God (Mathew 20:17-19), and to give assurance to all men of the eternal hope in Him (Acts 17:24-9-31).
We shall be resurrected:

The gift of God is eternal life to them who believe (St. John 5:24). As the Son was raised from the grave, even so, we also shall be raised (1 Cor 15:35-57)
Incarnation
The incarnation in traditional Christianity is the belief that Jesus Christ the second person in the trinity; also known as God the Son or the logos (word),"became flesh" by being conceived in the womb of a woman, the Virgin Mary.
We affirm our faith in the incarnation of Jesus Christ & the virgin birth, as it is made evident by the authority of Gods' word through prophecy, and the certainty of God's sovereign working in human events.
The Immaculate Conception:
The prophecy: Isaiah 9:16
The power of the highest: Luke 1:35
The sovereignty of God in human events: Gal 4:4
New Creation
By grace through faith in Jesus Christ
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things become new
(2 Cor 5:17)
You must be born again (St. John 3:3-8)
Baptism:
1. Water Baptism
-
Baptize in the name of the Father & in the name of the Son & in the name of the Holy Ghost. (Mathew 28:19), or Jesus name (Acts 19:5-6 & Acts 2:38)
2. Spiritual baptism
-
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:1-4)

-
Tongues for prophecy:
I will pour out my spirit and your sons and daughters shall prophesy. (Acts 2:18)

-
Tongues are for a sign to the unbeliever: (1 Cor 14: 22-25)
We believe that there is a relationship between Genesis 11:1- 9, 1 Cor 21 and Acts 2:4-13

-
Tongues are one of the spiritual gifts given to the body.
We are to covet (desire) the best gifts for the love of the body & the ministry. (1 Cor 12:27-31)

-
Charity (love) is the essential fruit. (1 Cor 13:1-13)
-
The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. (Ro 5:5)
-
The fruit of the spirit: (Gal 5:22) love is the essential fruit and evidence of the spirits presence.

CDC does not support any types of conversion therapies.
Eschatology
We believe in the second and final coming of Christ; We believe that the Saints shall be raptured at Christ second and final coming. 1 Thess 4: 13-18
We believe in the end of this present world & earth and that God will make a new earth where only righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:10- 13.
We believe that God has one people who are also his bride (Rev 21:1-2) chosen in Him before the foundation of the world. (Eph 1:4) (Ro 9:22-24)
*****Jesus describes himself as the alpha and omega (beginning & end). We believe that the beginning of all things is correlated with the end of all things and, that each of the dispensations are a process towards what God has finished in Christ from the foundation of the world.
We believe that God has chosen to save falling humanity (Gen 3:15) and, that Christ is the only seed of Abraham to accomplish this (Gal 3:16-29). Therefore the physical seed (Ro 9:6-8) serves as a part of the whole in Christ (Gal 3:16-29). Thus, those who are elect in Christ are "the Israel of God" (Gal 6:15-16)

We believe that all of the land promises to Israel (physical seed) are complete, based on the compliance of the Jews with God's laws (Joshua 23:6-16) and, that the new Jerusalem will be the prepared (St. John 4:2) kingdom for the elect of both Jews and Gentiles (Gal 4:22-26). Therefore we do not believe that the thousand year millennial (Rev 20:4-5) is a time for a temporary land restoration as a promise to the physical seed.
CLOSING:
God has called one people in one body, his Son (Christ Jesus), to one hope of everlasting life (Eph 4:1-6).
